Oxymorons
by Nadège Grebmeier Forget
ABOUT

Oxymorons explores ideals, desires, peer-pressure, (im)perfection and beauty; what it is to feel overwhelmed by who we are and what we are “supposed to be”.

Commissioned by Youtheatre, Oxymorons took place in the Segal Centres’ ArtLounge as an art installation composed of drawings, collages and sculptures. The audience walked through what resembles a teenager’s bedroom while proceeding to the CinemaSpace. The artist then activated the space (the installation and the screen) through multiple interactions with her image and the camera.
